The founding story
Two people. Thousands of miles apart. One mission.
Zach Branch and Windell King met through social media, living thousands of miles apart: Zach in the United States and Windell in Liberia, West Africa.
Together, they started with one simple donation: giving a bag of rice to a local orphanage in Liberia.
Over time, their shared commitment expanded into a sponsorship model that can stay personal while the proof system keeps it honest, reviewed, and safe.

Four Hunger gets its name from a simple discovery: small, direct help can make a real difference in a child's life in West Africa. They could not believe how far so little could go, so they went to find out.
What they found were real children who needed real people in their corner. So the sponsorship model makes monthly giving specific: one sponsor, one private child relationship, meals, and someone checking in every month.
